Designated agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our designated copyright agent:

Include “DMCA Notice” or “DMCA Counter-Notice” in the subject line so we can prioritize review.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on Hip-Hop Mgmt infringes your copyright, your written notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL, project name, file name, uploader account if known)
  • Your contact information (address, phone, email)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

Counter-notification

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  • Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district where we may be found)
  • Consent to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

We may restore the material after 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.

User-uploaded content

Hip-Hop Mgmt is a workspace platform. Users upload their own music, artwork, and documents. We do not pre-screen uploads. Rights holders should direct takedown requests to the designated agent above; we are not a substitute for disputes between artists, labels, or distributors.
